Every year, the Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery Program is named for the particular year in which selected people will be allowed to enter the United States.
The DV-2018 Green Card Lottery registration period will begin on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at 12 pm EDT. The registration period will end on Monday, November 7, 2016, at 12 pm EDT.
The Green Card Lottery DV-2018 will be held in the early part of 2017, and winners will start getting notified in May of 2017 through July of 2017.
Those who pass the Consular Interview successfully and receive the DV will be allowed to enter the United States in 2018.
